Blood is a compound and sea water is a mixture. Sea water contains many thing other than water like different salts, minerals etc and Blood contains plasma, WBCs, RBCs and blood platelets. The components of blood and sea water can be separated by physical method therefore blood and sea water are mixtures.

1)plasma

2)RBC

3)WBC

Sea water is mixture of different substances. Some of these substance can be observed when the water in the sea evaporates and leaves salt .
