Blood is called a fluid connective tissue because it develops from the mesoderm of the embryo like any other typical connective tissue and connects all the organ systems of the body by transporting oxygen, nutrients, hormones, etc. and removing wastes from these organs....

blood is a fluid connective tissue that transports essential material like food, harmones, drugs and other things to targeted regions.

blood has white blood carpucells, red blood carpucells and platelets

  • WBC provides immunity to our body.they have phagocytes which are able to engulf the foreign material like bacteria.
  • RBC has life span around 100-120 days.they have heam a respirator pigment which gives them red colour.
  • platelets help in clotting of blood at the sight of injury.
