Blood pressure is nothing but the force of blood which is pushing against the blood vessel walls. The heart pumps blood into the blood vessels, and it carries the blood throughout the body. So, high blood pressure is dangerous mainly because it makes your heart pump faster and harder to pump the blood out of the body and it usually causes hardening of the arteries, and it results to the heart stroke, kidney disease, and even heart failure as well. High blood pressure is often referred to as hypertension
