Blood vessels are present in our whole body ,then why not our blood clots or stops paticularly in our feetswhen ever we stand for long time??

Blood has four components namely red blood cells,white blood cells,platelets and liquid plasma.Each of this component have definitely function.Out of these platelets are responsible for clotting of blood .platelets become active only when blood vessels need repair.if blood vessel is ruptured these tiny cells are activated and clotting starts.
