Blue shift in UV-Vis of ZnO?

Heya mate......  the blue shift in the Uv-vis of ZnO is may be due to the transition of electrons from the inner shell  to the outermost shell as time passes. It is possible that, due to aggregation  of  particle size increases and material settled down on the bottom of the container    @skb
