Most Indian women like wearing bright colours. But they don"t really know how to carry them off," says Pria Warrick of Pria Warrick Finishing School in Delhi. "You should wear colours that suit your complexion," she says. No one is stopping you from wearing bright shades. If you have a fair complexion, you can go about and experiment with any colour you like. But with the Indian skin tone, which is generally wheatish, you need to narrow down on a few shades.
"Royal blue, lemon yellow, parrot green, orange and maroon seem to work wonders with the Indian skin type," says Warrick, who cautions that you should stay away from pink, blood red, bright yellow, grey and sky blue.
