On the basis of there habitat we can classify animals into different groups.Animals can live in different habitat according to there body structure their outer skin etc..on the basis of animal the places whare they live in they can into 3:

terrestrial ,aquatic and amphibious.

Animals that live on land are called terrestrial.

example:dog, cat etc

Animals that entirely live on water are called as aquatic animals.

example:shark ,whale etc

Animals that live in both water and land are called amphibious animals.

example:frog, crocodile etc
