Answer:

Bob=300 Alex=200

Step-by-step explanation:

Bob alone can complete a piece of work in 10 days. Alex  alone can complete it in 15 days.

Bob=1/10

Alex=1/15

Ratio between Bob and Alex

Bob/Alex=(1/10)/(1/15)

Bob/Alex=3/2

let 3/2=3x/2x

The total wages for the  work is $500.

Bob+Alex=3x+2x

Bob+Alex=5x

if 5x=500

  3x=300

  2x=200
