Answer:

bicycle brought for Rupees= 15,000

Bob sold it to the Joel at 10% loss

=10%of 15,000 is 1500

15000-1500 = 13,500

and then Joel sold it at 20% profit to bina

=20%of 13500 is 2700

13500+2700 = 16,200

and then Bina sold it to lia at 10% profit

=10% of 16,200 is 1620

16200-1620 =14,580

liya paid 14,580 for the bicycle

I hope this is helpful to you

Given : Bob bought a bicycle for Rs. 15,000 last year and

sold it to Joel at 10% loss.

Joel then sold the bicycle to Bina at 20% profit and

Bina sold it to Lia at 10% profit.

To Find : how much Lia paid for the bicycle.

Solution:

Bob paid for cycle = Rs 15000

sold it to Joel at 10% loss.

=> Joel Paid = 15000 - (10/100) 15000 = Rs 13500

Joel then sold the bicycle to Bina at 20% profit

=> Bina Paid =  13500 + (20/100)13500  = Rs 16200

Bina sold it to Lia at 10% profit.

=> Lia Paid = 16200 + (10/100)16200  = 17820  Rs

Lia paid for the bicycle. = 17820  Rs
