We can simply solve this mathematical problem by the following process -

1) We subtract the number of pens given to Jenny from the total no. of pens:

              450 - 90 = 360

No. of pens left with Bob - 360

2) With the no. of pens left with Bob, and the total no. of pens he had before, we can find the percentage of the pens left with the following formula:

             Percentage = (Pens left with Bob × 100) ÷ Total No. of Pens

Thus, on adding the given numbers to the above equation, we get:

              Percentage of remaining pens = (360×100) ÷450 = 80%

Hence, the percentage of pens left with Bob is 80%
