LET US CONSIDER DISTANCE BETWEEN POINT   A & B IS X

now   V2 = U2 + 2as

         900 = 400 + 2ax          (  s =x )

        900 - 400 = 2ax

                     a = 500/2x

        now for midpoint between A & B distance = X /2

      V2 = 400 +2* 500/2X *X/2
