Answer:-

Distance = πr

Displacement = 2r

Explanation:-

A body moves in a circular path of radius r then,

Distance travelled by body is equal to the circumference of semicircle.

Circumference of semicircle = S =\dfrac{2\pi r }{2}

 S=\dfrac{\cancel{2}\pi r}{\cancel{2}}

S = \pi r

Displacement :- The shortest distance between final and initial position is known as displacement.

Now, Displacement of body in half round is equal to the diameter of the circle of radius r.

\thereforeS = 2r
