Body mass is used to determine health status of a person.

✒One way to find out if adult are undernourished is to calculate what nutrition scientist call body mass index or BMI.

✒ the criteria to determine if adult undernourished is body mass index popularly known as BMI

✒ in order to calculate it, first the weight of the person in kg is taken done, we take height in metres the weight is divided by the square of height.

✒ if the figure is less than 18.5, then the person would be consider undernourished however if this BMI is more than 25 then the person is overweight.
