Answer:

By Newton's second law ------->

S = ut + 1/2 * gt^2

12 = 0 * t + 1/2 * 6 * t^2

12 = 3 * t^2

12/3 = t^2

4 = t^2

t = 2 second

Given :-

  • Mass → 1 kg
  • Force → 6 N
  • So, Acceleration → ?

_____

  • Initial Velocity → 0 m/s
  • Distance Travelled → 12 m
  • Time Taken → ?

To Find :-

  • The acceleration produced
  • The time taken

Solution :-

As we know ,

F = ma

→ 6 N = 1 kg × acceleration

→ So, Acceleration = 6.0 m/s²

[ Formula Used :- ]

s = ut + ½ at² ★

Here,

s = 12 m

u = 0 m/s

t = ?

a = 6 m/s²

→ 12 m = 0 × t + ½ × 6 m/s² × t²

→ 12 m = 0 + 3 m/s² × t²

→ 12 m = 3 m/s² × t²

→ 4s² = t²

→ t = √4s²

→ t = 2s

So, The time taken was 2 s

Thank You !
