body of mass 10gram hits a target and penetrates 2 cm into it if the average resistance offered by the target is 100 newton then the veloctiy with which ot hit the target is?

m=10g=0.01kg
s=2cm=0.02m
F=100N

using work-energy relationship

F.s=1/2 mv^2
100×0.02=1/2 (0.01)×v^2
2=1/2 (0.01)×v^2
4=(0.01)×v^2
v^2=4/0.01
v^2=400
v=20m/s
