u = 0.5 mps
v = 0 mps
{because body has stop in the end}
a = -0.03 mps^2
{because final velocity is lesser than initial velcoity, accelaration would be negative...}
t = ?
using v = u + at,
0 = 0.5 + (-/0.03)(t)
-0.5 = -0.03(t)
t = 0.5 / 0.03 = 16.66
=> t = 16.66s
hence, time = 16.66 = 17 (approx) seconds.....
