Bohr's model of atom was quite successful in explaining the stability of an atom and also the electronic distribution in different energy level in an atom . Bohr's postulated that electrons revolve around the nucleus only in those orbits which have fixed value of energy .these are called stationary states .they are numbered as1,2,3,4.....etc.or K,L,M,aN..etc.
