Explanation:

It is because boiling is a bulk phenomenon. All the liquid(water generally)molecules are converted into steam in the process of boiling and it takes place only at the boiling point of the liquid to be boiled.Another important reason for the formation of sound is boiling is a rapid fast process.(some amount of heat energy is converted into sound energy)

But evaporation is a surface phenomenon

Only the the surface liquid(or water) molecules are converted into water vapour and it takes place at room temperature. Extreme heating is not required. But evaporation is a very slow process.

Answer:

Because boiling is a vigorous reaction that's why it is associated with sound whereas evaporation is slow change and it is not associated with sound. I hope it will clear your doubt and you will make brainilist.
