Hey !!

The boiling point of a substance is governed by the inter molecular force of attraction. In case of ethanol, the molecular have strong inter molecular forces of attraction. Hydrogen bonds among the molecules. In case of di-methyl etther, the inter molecular force is only dipole-dipole interactions which is weaker than H ----- bonding. Hence, boiling point of alcohol is greater than ether.

Good luck !!
