Solution :
According to Goldberg's rule for liquid , at absolute temperature ,
boiling point of a liquid = two-third of the critical temperature of the liquid
then ,
341.9 K = ( 2 / 3 ) * critical temperature
=> critical temperature = ( 3 / 2 ) * 341.9 K
=> critical temperature = 512.85 K = 239.85 degree Celsius
The critical temperature of n-hexane is 239.85 degree Celsius .
