Explanation:

Bholi was a neglected child unlike her other siblings.At the age of 10 months...she fell of a cot and perhaps a part of her brain was damaged . She became a simpleton . Moreover at the age of 2 years she had an attack of small pox which disfigured her with deep black pock marks .

Thus unlike her other sisters she was neither pretty nor intelligent. When she started speaking..she stammered which made her a stock of laughter for other kids. who started immitating her to tease her.

Hence no one payed attention to her.No fresh clothes were bought for her nor was she bathed and taken care of.She was ignored by her family and sat occupying one corner of the house always.
