MUMBAI, April 7: Entry was banned in the Mumo Police arters this afternoon after a call was received by the of Room at 3.10 pm that a bomb had been planted in the headquarters building. A bomb disposal squad, sniffer dogs and Mumbai Fire Service engines were rushed to the headquarters within minutes. The entire occupants were evacuated immediately and the bomb squad combed every nook and corner of the building for two hours and thereafter the call was declared as a hoax. The call was made from a cellular phone, the police sources said.
