The Bombay Duck fish is a lizard fish which is known  by many names such as Bummalo, Loytta, Bombil etc.

The Hilsa fish  is  a very popular  food fish in South Asia. It is also known by many names such as Ilish, Hilsa herring, Hilsa Shad, Ellis, Modar etc.

Bombay duck and Hilsa are prime example of marine fish as they are found  in salt water such as oceans or salt lakes, although the two varieties of hilsa namely Tenualosa ilisha and Tenualosa toli ilisha are found both in  marine and fresh waters of Bangladesh.
