PH3 and PF3 are also pyramidal in shape with one lone pair on P. But PF3has greater bond angle than PH3. InPF3 the lone pair on the phosphorus pushes the P-F bonding electrons away from itself, and resulting in resonance, leading to partial doublebond character.
