Bond angle in PH4+ is higher than PH3 ..Why ?

Answer:

because PH4+ is SP3 hybridised but in PH3 no hybridisation occurs;it undergoes by simple overlapping that causes it's bond angle is about 93 or 94 degrees where as in PH4+ the bond angle is 109.5 degrees
