When an electron moves from one atom to another, both atoms become ions. ... This type of chemical bond is called an ionic bond because the bond formed between two ions of opposite charge. The sodium cation (Na+) and the oxygen anion(O^2-) are attracted to one another to form sodium oxide(NaO)

shubham12345678932: hey its oxygen
aman9106: But i wanted its clear formation with oxygen and not with chlorine.
goswamikushal3p3zr4d: sorry bro
