PCl5 has sp3d hybridisation. It has trigonal bipyramidal geometry in which the two axial bonds have more bond length than three equitorial bonds as it suffers more repulsion. So axial bonds are slightly longer and weak as compared to equitorial bonds.

Rest three atoms are located at equitorial positions which are same inlength. Henc axial Cl atoms bond lengths are longer in length. ... In PCl5, P is undergoing sp3d hybridization geometry of the molecule is trigonal bi pyramidal with bond angle 90° and 120° .
