The human skull is generally considered to consist of twenty-twobones—eight cranial bones and fourteen facial skeleton bones. In the neurocranium these are the occipitalbone, two temporal bones, two parietalbones, the sphenoid, ethmoid and frontal bones.


These are labeled as the frontal, parietal, spehnoid, temporal, occipital, and ethmoid bones.
