Answer:

If 56 gms of calcium oxide(CaO) contains 40 gms of calcium, then one gram of calcium oxide contains 40/56 gms of calcium .So 14 gms of calcium oxide contains 14×40/56=> 560/56 => 10 gms of calcium. hence %by mass of calcium in the bone = 10/50 ×100 =1000/50 =20% .
