Acute Mountain sickness / Altitude sickness:

Physical distress from difficulty adjusting to lower oxygen pressure at high altitude.

High Altitude cerebral Edema: (Refer the image )

High-altitude cerebral edema (HACE) is a medical condition in which the brain swells with fluid because of the physiological effects of traveling to a high altitude. It generally appears in patients who have acute mountain sickness and involves disorientation, lethargy, and nausea among other symptoms.

High Altitude Pulmonary Edema:

High-altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) is a life-threatening form of non-cardiogenicpulmonary edema (fluid accumulation in the lungs) that occurs in otherwise healthy people at altitudes typically above 2,500 meters (8,200 ft).

You may be suffering from any of these syndromes , due to which you observe acute changes in your body such as severe nausea and palpitations.

Hope my answer helps you.
