Magnesium chloride is the common impurity present in table salt. It is highly hygroscopic(1) and absorbs moisture from air. Because of the presence of MgCl2 in sodium chloride(common/table salt), the latter becomes wet. This type of wetting is generally observed in the samples of table salt obtained from sea water directly, because magnesium chloride also occurs in sea water.

Common salts absorbs the moisture from the atmosphere which is very humid... in rainy season. That's the reason common salts get wet in rainy season
