Answer:
So, viola is shipwrecked and wakes up on the coast of Illyria and thinks her twin brother, Sebastian, croaked out at sea. So , obviously, she begins crossdressing to work for the duke. The duke falls in love with Olivia, a rich countess, whose family just all kicked the bucket. She does not want to leave the house and refuses to see other people, which is reasonable because her family just died. This lasts 7 years. The duke uses viola, still dressed like a man, to ‘seduce’ her. She/he succeeds but not for the best. Now that this has happened there is an awkward love triangle. Viola/Cesario(the person she is pretending to be) love the duke, the duke loves viola and Olivia has fallen in love with Cesario/viola, weird. There is a useless subplot the is just about Olivia’s sad, suitors. Once Sebastian is rescued the love triangle turns into a love pentagon. In the end it is very confusing, but Viola confesses to being a woman and gets with the duke and Sebastian and Olivia somehow get together
