Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is the first book of the Harry Potter’s series by J. K. Rowling. The book is about Harry Potter, a young boy, who is unaware of his magical abilities. His aunt, uncle and cousin, with whom he lives, torment him a lot. They hide the fact from Harry that he is a wizard and so were his parents. His parents were killed by Voldemort, the most influential wizard in the history. He also tried to kill Harry but was not able to and then disappeared. Finally, Hagrid, from Hogwarts bursts into tell Harry that he has been accepted at Hogwarts. Harry leaves for Hogwarts a month later. He discovers various things about Hogwarts, how they all cross the magical wall to reach the platform 9¾ to catch Hogwarts Express. He discovers how wealthy he is and his parents were such influential magicians.

It is a recommended watch not just for children but adults as well. It is going to be a new experience as the story unfolds, how the young wizards travel to a new magical world and discover their abilities and learn new skills. The special effects are superbly executed. I give it a thumbs up.
