A cylindrical shaped speaker of circumference 44cm is wrapped around by a piece of paper of area 528 sq.cm. Find the volume of the speaker in cubic meters.

=> 2πrh = 528----(**)

From (*) and (**), we get

h = 528/44 = 12 cm.

r = 44/2π = 22/π = 7 cm (approx)

Volume of the speaker = πr²h

= 22/7*7²*12

=1848 cm³.
