Option A is correct. It is based on truth values – if true or false.

These values are represented by 1 and 0 respectively and form the values of variables. Boolean Algebra is used for the analysis and simplification of digital circuits, by using only the binary numbers 0 and 1. With this, complex Boolean Expressions may be reduced or simplified, therefore reducing the number of Logic Gates that are required in digital circuits.  

Boolean Expressions use operators such as ‘and’, ‘or’ ‘not’ etc. to arrive at a ‘true’ or ‘false’ result.
