Alexander the king was born in 356 BC and his empire stretched from Greece to North Africa and as far east as India and Afghanistan. He also fought a great battle with King Porus where king Porus fought heroically but was defeated, he was captured and brought to Alexander who asked him how he should treat him. In reply Porus said that Alexander should treat him as a king should treat another king. Alexander was very pleased to have this reply and he returned all the territories of Porus and they became friends after that.
