because thallium is more stable in+1 oxidation state so it can easily share it's valence e but boron is stable in +3 oxidation state so it is less stable because of innert pair effect

Answer: Boron forms no compounds in unipositive state but thallium in unipositive state is quite stable due to inert pair effect.

Explanation:

Both Boron and Thallium belongs to group 13 and have oxidation state as +3.

The inert pair effect is the capability of two paired up electrons which are present in outermost of s-orbital to remain unshared even if they are bonded.
