For a turn with 30° bank (nz = 1.15), the denominator of the radius equation is about 4, so to calculate the turn radius in meters, divide the square of airspeed by 4 or take the square of half your airspeed in meters per second. For the turn rate in degree per second, divide 220 by your airspeed in meters per second.
