first see the journal and then u will easily get the entry for cash book

journal entry will be

cash A/C dr 40,000
to mr trilok a/C 40,000.

here you can see that the cash is coming in the business so it will be noted on the dr side of cash book

and the reasons due to which it is debited is creditors.

so you will do the. entry on the dr side of cash book

which will be

To mr trilok a/C. 40,000
