: Both a mirror and a page of the book reflect light. You can see an image in a mirror but not in the book. Why? Choose any two objects that can produce an image.

bcoz mirror is plain and shiny surface but paper is a rough surface that's why we can see image on mirror not in paper.
two object that can produce an image - plain mirror and looking glass of car.

According to me, we can see our image only in mirror as compared to page of book !! as the page has not any reflecting surface. it doesn't reflect Light rays. same in the case of book! we can't see our image in a book.

. Like ,in the mirror .... we are able to see ourself only bcoz it has polished & clear surface ! It has silver coating in the behind of a plane mirror ( used in our homes ).
