Both Buddhim and jainism were against to cast systems. What do you think was wrong with the caste system?

The cast system is not necessary because it creates inequality in our country .All the people should have to live with each other with happiness. The persons goodness is described with his work and not by his cast .So according to me cast system is not important for us.
