ADVANTAGES OF FERTILISERS:-
1.Fertilisers are very rich in plant nutrients like nitrogen , phosphorous and potassium.
2.Being soluble in water , a fertiliser is readily absorbed by the plants .
3.They provide quick replenishment of plant nutrients in the soil.

DISADVANTAGES OF FERTILISERS:-
1.The excessive use of fertilisers is harmful.
2.A fertiliser does not provide any humus to the soil
3. They can't be prepared in the fields. They can only be prepared in the factories.

ADVANTAGES OF MANURE:-
1.Manure enhances the water-holding capacity of the soil.
2.Manure makes the soil porous due to which the exchange of gases becomes easy.
3.Manure increases the no. of useful microbes in the soil.
4.Manure improves the texture of the soil.
5.It can be prepared in fields.

DISADVANTAGES OF MANURE:-
1.Manure is absorbed slowly by the plants because it is not much soluble in water.
