Well, the hormonal function of body are specific in function . The appropriate quantity of each hormone are necessary for normal body function. Similarly the growth hormones are usually produced by the pituitary  glands which stimulates the growth of organs ,bones and muscles etc.The more the growth hormone means there is happening of more growth hormone in the body which result in abnormally robust growth of every tissues .This overproduction of growth hormones can be due to benign pituitary tumor mostly.This lead to the over growth In children this disease is known as  gigantism while on the other hand in adults is  Acromegaly .

On the other the lower production of growth hormones means the stunted growth or low growth than normal in the persons  This may be due to tumor near the pituitary gland , may cause due to head injury of some type of infection

Excessive production - Gigantism( children

Less production- dwarfism( children)

Excess production - acromegaly( adults)
