We all know that when in school our teachers use chalk and the chalk starts to decrease it's size because the bonds in the chalk are not strong and easily break and then convert into form of powder, but on the other hand steel has double or triple bond which does not let it's bonds break and that is why chalk is not used in buildings and bridges.
