precipitation: The insoluble particles in a solution after chemical reaction is known as precipitation.It is denoted by downward arrow.
for example:NaSO4+BaCl2 gives rise to 2NaCl +BaSO4
Neutralisation:If any acid and base react together they form salt and water.
for example: NaOH+HCl gives rise to NaCl + H2O
In both reactions two element displaced each other so we can say precipitation and neutralisation are double displacement reactions.
