both wind and water pollinated flowers are not very colourful and do not produce nectar why?

pollination is a process of transfer of pollen grain to the stigma of the flower that result into fertilization. the pollen grains are carried out by different means like wind , water ,insect e.t.c.
wind and water pollinated flower are light in weight as air and water cannot carry heavy pollens . They are neither colourful nor neactor producing as these are the character for insect pollinated flower . Insect get attracted towards the nectar flower colour but this does not occur in the case of wind and water, So wind pollinated flower do not produce nector or fragnance .
