List price of Goods = 10,000
Trade Discount @ 10%
= Rs.10,000 × 10/100
= 1,000
∴ Net Amount of the bill
= 10,000 - 1,000
= 9,000
Cash Discount @ 5%

= 400
∴ Net Payment made
= 9,000 - 400
