Answer :-

As the box is going down with a acceleration the resulting gravitational force will be = (g - a)

Where a is the acceleration of the box .

⏩Now ,

▪️Mass of Box = 50 kg

▪️Acceleration of rope = 1m/s² downward

▪️Acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

▪️Tension in rope = Apparent weight of Box

▪️Apparent weight of Box

= Mass of Box × resulting acceleration

⏩Resulting acceleration :-

= 9.8 - 1

= 8.8 m/s²

⏩Now Apparent weight of Box

= 50 ( 8.8)

= 440 N

⏩ Tension in Rope

= Apparent weight of Box

= 440 N
