The Brahmaputra river is a snow fed river.
Usually the north Indian rivers are snow fed and the rivers in South India are rain fed.
The famous North Indian rivers are Jhelum, Indus, Sutlej, Ravi, Chenab, Beas, Yamuna, Ram Ganga, Kosi, Mahananda, Chambal, Tista, Subarnasri, and Manas.
So, when you go to visit the North Indian rivers you will be able to feel a tinge of cold.
