so 9/100x = 8890
x=889000/9
now 91% of it
889000/9×91/100
=89887.77
so student passed =89888

Answer 2

91% are passed so the remaining 9% was fail..

9%=8890

So 1%=8890/9

So 91%=8890/9 × 91 =89887.7 or approx.. 89888 students are passed in the exam...
